On a sunny Friday afternoon a few weeks back we popped in to visit the team at Sociable Cider Werks in Minneapolis. Wade, Logan and the rest of the team showed us around, told us their story, poured us a pint and generally made us feel right at home.
Jim and Wade started Sociable cider in their garage… what is it with Cider makers and garages!
Since then they’ve upgraded their facilities significantly and we got to wander round while trying most of their delicious ciders.
Started off with their flagship cider, the Freewheeler and slowly worked our way through most on the tap list. Not only was it great to see such a great operation thriving in Minneapolis, but that the local audience is so open to their wild and whacky experiments. Arguably the most interesting was the Ringo a sake-cider fermented with Koji!
If you’re in Minneapolis – make sure to give them a visit!
ahh, the tap list!
The canning operation that’s on-site.
Logan giving us to low down on their fermentation process.
Punters can get Crowlers to-go right from the tap room. They sent us off with a few for the road!
